How to prepare before Screening for Breast Cancer
1. It is recommended to schedule your screening when your breast is not feeling tender or swollen. The ideal time for screening breast cancer is 3-10 days after your menstrual cycle because during this time, the hormones in the body begin to decrease which helps ease from feeling tight, tender and less pain during investigation.
2. No need for fasting water and food prior to investigation.
3. No jewelry and accessories around the ears and neck.
4. Please bring any previous films you have had with you at the time of your exam because these films will be compared with your current study and are very important when looking for small changes in the breast tissue. (For patients without medical history at Namarak Hospital)
Remark: Patients with history of breast augmentation, please notify our doctors and staff each time before investigation for an appropriate method.
Remark:: There's no guarantee for fixed result and outcome was uncertainty depend on individual
